It provides us with several things for survival, including a beautiful environment, oxygen, vegetation, climate change, and many other necessary items. But we need to use these things adequately, and we are not giving the earth the love it deserves. We are causing harm to it with our activities.
Pollution: In simple words, these are the substances that remain in the environment and harm the living beings and the natural processes of this world. Their types are differentiated as Air Pollution (มลพิษทางอากาศ, which is a term in Thai), Water Pollution, Noise Pollution, and so on.
In this article, we will discuss several things about pollution. So here we go.
Different Types Of Pollution
As we know, there are several types of pollution are there, but the significant pollution which covers all others also are as mentioned below:
· Air Pollution
The pollutants in the atmosphere harm living organisms, including human beings, animals, plants, surroundings, and air quality, which may lead to harmful problems for both humans and animals.
It can be caused by natural processes, human-made things, etc. Burning of waste may lead to dangerous gas release into the atmosphere. Using insecticides, pesticides, fertilizer, and many other agricultural chemical-based things can also release pollutants into the air.
The release of vehicle gases is one of the primary causes of air pollution. Release of gasses from the chimneys of industries may also release harmful pollutants into the atmosphere, and other reasons are also there.
· Water Pollution
Dumping harmful material into water bodies like rivers, lakes, oceans, and groundwater may harm the aquatic life, environment, and living beings on the land. The primary cause of water pollutants is the dumping of waste into water bodies by industries, which contain several harmful chemical substances like toxins, metals, etc.
Substances in the air may also settle on the upper surface of the water bodies by rain. Pesticides, insecticides, and fertilizers can mix up with the nearby stream and cause water pollution by the chemicals in them.
· Noise Pollution
It refers to unusual and disturbing sounds that can harm human health and the environment. A lot of noise pollution occurs, like the burning of crackers, loudspeakers, train platforms, the sound of big machines in the industries, and many others.
